Professional Builder magazine unveiled its Annual “Forty Under 40” list for of rising stars in the home building industry and Justin Henry, the owner of Zander Homes™ is among this year’s prestigious lists of award winners.
This year’s class of 14 women and 26 men were selected from more than 100 nominations submitted from all regions of the United States. All of the honorees are were nominated for their professional accomplishments they achieved before the age of 40.
The backgrounds of these honorees run the gamut, including entrepreneurs who started building houses after their high school graduation; builders who survived the Great Recession by redirecting their strategy at more promising target markets, and managers who rose to success after starting their careers as laborers and sales assistants. Many excelled by developing or implementing systems and procedures that boosted production or back office tools that increased website traffic, appointments and ultimately sales and market share.
The honorees also are very active in giving back to the industry and their local communities. A sample of this outreach includes delivering highly-regarded podcasts, speaking at trade conferences, building homes for military veterans and Habitat for Humanity, and all sorts of fundraising for charities and hands-on volunteering such as gift-wrapping donations, coaching, mentoring and more.
